The Know-Net tool provides a total knowledge management software infrastructure that is:

Highly scaleable: The Know-Net Tool Technology has been designed to be fully scaleable, from supporting and enabling a small team of knowledge workers, as a project and/or pilot - to supporting and enabling a Global Enterprise Wide Knowledge Management System.

Extensible for customisation and integration with business applications: The Know-Net tool leverages the power of Lotus Enterprise Connectors of Lotus Domino to connect to existing enterprise systems such as Relational Database Management Systems

Internet based: All users of the tool (including knowledge workers, knowledge managers and system administrators) need nothing more that a standard Java-enabled browser to use and administer the system.

The Know-Net tool helps companies:

Collect and categorise internal and external information. It allows individuals to capture information together with its context into a knowledge repository.

Re-use knowledge stored using flexible and customisable Knowledge Navigators and advanced search mechanisms that include textual as well as graphical searching.

Collaborate via on-line workspaces that allow people to work together from different locations. Knowledge created during such collaboration is captured and made available for others to access.
